Pete Abraham @peteabe · 10h The 17 runs are the most for the Sox since a 20-8 victory against Tampa Bay on Aug. 11, 2021.
Devers was 0 for 13 with RISP vs. the Orioles this season before that grand slam in the first inning.
His only previous RBI vs. the Orioles was on a solo home run back on May 29.

Hot-hitting Red Sox look to take series from Orioles FLM
Following their most potent offensive performance of the season, the Boston Red Sox will aim for a weekend series win while concluding a six-game trip on Sunday against the Baltimore Orioles.
While the first four games of the trip -- three vs. Tampa Bay and Friday's series opener in Baltimore -- didn't go their way, the Red Sox bounced back for a 17-4 Saturday win in which they set season-high marks in runs and hits (21).
Rafael Devers set the tone with a first-inning grand slam as eight Red Sox finished with multiple hits. Christian Arroyo had two, including a home run in the fifth inning, in addition to driving in three runs.
"(Orioles starter Jordan Lyles) has been consistent all year, so to get on him early was huge," Arroyo told NESN. "(Camden Yards is) definitely a bigger ballpark and plays completely different now, but I was just trying to see a pitch over the plate and put a good swing on it."
The Red Sox (68-72) had scored nine runs in their previous four games, all losses. Baltimore (73-66) has lost five of its last seven.
"When we do our thing, when we are disciplined, we are that team," manager Alex Cora said. "But we haven't been consistent. ... There are days like that when we're really good."
Outfielder Tommy Pham is considered day-to-day after leaving Saturday's game with a left-shin contusion.
Boston will send Rich Hill (6-6, 4.79 ERA) to the mound on Sunday after he gave up five runs on nine hits in four innings in a loss at Tampa Bay on Tuesday.
"I take a lot of pride in going out there and putting us in a position to win, and I didn't do that (on Tuesday)," Hill said. "So it's tough. This one hurts a lot."
Hill will look to bounce back against a squad he has handled well. He is 3-1 with a 3.15 ERA in 17 career appearances against Baltimore.
The southpaw's first and only career loss to the Orioles came in his May 30 start in Boston, but he has allowed just one run on three hits in 10 innings over his last two starts at Camden Yards.
Orioles rookie right-hander Kyle Bradish (3-5, 5.30) has won two of his three starts since losing to the Red Sox on Aug. 20, though he lasted just three innings and allowed three runs -- two on a Bo Bichette home run -- on six hits in a no-decision against Toronto on Tuesday.
"I feel like I was throwing well, my velo was up, my slider was working," Bradish said. "But that's a good team."
Bradish had a career-long streak of 16 scoreless innings snapped during his last start. He previously pitched two-hit, shutout ball for seven innings against Cleveland and eight against Houston.
Since returning from the injured list on July 29, Bradish has a 3.09 ERA in 42 2/3 innings and hasn't allowed more than three runs in any of his eight starts.
Bradish is 0-2 with a 7.43 ERA in three starts against the Red Sox this season.
Baltimore's Cedric Mullins has five hits in the series, including a homer on Saturday.
"Tomorrow, if we win, we take the series and won't think about all the runs we gave up tonight," Lyles said. "It was a bad loss, but it only counts for one."

Pete Abraham @peteabe Pham with a great catch in left as he slammed into the wall to steal at least a double away from Mountcastle and Hill waits outside the dugout to high five him.
Until you see a guy play everyday, it's hard to get a true read on them. That said, Tommy Pham plays hard. Gives it up defensively, tough at-bat, runs the bases aggressively. Plays with a sense of purpose.
To add to this, Pham came out of yesterday's game when he fouled a ball off his shin. There he is today flinging himself into the wall. Tough cookie.

Fading Orioles drop 6th of 8, fall to last-place Red Sox 1-0 AP
BALTIMORE (AP) Rich Hill pitched five scoreless innings, and the Boston Red Sox defeated the fading Baltimore Orioles 1-0 Sunday.
The Orioles have lost six of eight, all at home, including back-to-back games to the last-place Red Sox. Baltimore was 1 1/2 games out of the third and final AL wild-card spot entering Sept. 4, but will begin a five-game road trip at least five games out of the playoffs.
The Orioles went 0 for 7 with runners in scoring position.
''We got guys on in a couple different innings and just couldn't get that big hit to get something rolling for us,'' Orioles outfielder Austin Hays said. ''It seems like that's just where we're at right now.''
Boston got four hits and the Orioles only had three - every hit in the game was a single.
Baltimore has scored just eight runs over its last four games.
''We have some guys that are scuffling and we have really big swings, and we need to get back to staying in the middle of the field,'' manager Brandon Hyde said.
Hill (7-6) allowed two hits, walking three while striking out seven. The 42-year-old left-hander, who pitched for the Orioles in 2009, improved to 4-1 with a 2.80 ERA in 18 career appearances against Baltimore.
''He's a crafty pitcher,'' Boston manager Alex Cora said. ''That's why I do believe he can pitch until whenever he wants to or his family lets him. You see him, (and) physically he stays in great shape. He's on top of the craft.''
John Schreiber, Matt Strahm, Garrett Whitlock and Matt Barnes each worked an inning of relief. Barnes worked a perfect ninth to earn his fifth save.
The Red Sox manufactured their run in the first when Tommy Pham singled, stole second, moved to third on a grounder and scored on Xander Bogaerts' sacrifice fly. It was all they would muster against Baltimore starter Kyle Bradish (3-6), who allowed just one more hit --- Rafael Devers' seventh-inning single --- over seven innings.
Bradish struck out three while walking two. The rookie has a 1.44 ERA over his last four starts, and has lowered his ERA from 6.25 to 5.01 in that span.
The start of the game was delayed by 1 hour, 12 minutes because of rain.
TRAINER'S ROOM
Red Sox: 2B Trevor Story departed in the seventh inning with twisted left ankle. ''We'll see how he feels on Tuesday and go from there,'' Cora said. . Cora said the team's goal is to have RHP Nathan Eovaldi (shoulder inflammation) throw live batting practice Tuesday. Eovaldi was placed on the injured list Aug. 22.
Orioles: 2B Rougned Odor left in the ninth with a bruised right hand, and X-rays were negative. Strahm hit Odor on the hand in the seventh, prompting Odor to slam his bat in frustration. . C Adley Rutschman, who fouled a ball off his foot Saturday, was scheduled to have the day off. He flied out as a pinch-hitter to end the game.
TRANSACTIONS
Baltimore recalled RHP Mike Baumann from Triple-A Norfolk and optioned RHP Yennier Cano to Norfolk. Cano allowed seven runs in 1 2/3 innings in his Orioles debut Saturday. . The Orioles designated RHP Rico Garcia for assignment and claimed C Cam Gallagher off waivers from San Diego and optioned him to Norfolk.
UP NEXT
Red Sox: After an off day, Boston faces the New York Yankees to begin a two-game series Tuesday at Fenway Park. RHP Nick Pivetta (9-11, 4.29 ERA) is 0-2 with an 11.48 ERA in three starts against the Yankees this season.
Orioles: Baltimore opens a two-game series at Washington on Tuesday, with RHP Dean Kremer (6-5, 3.23) facing the Nationals for the first time.

Trevor Story left the Boston Red Sox’s game against the Baltimore Orioles on Sunday because of left heel pain, according to the NESN broadcast and Boston Globe’s Peter Abraham.
Story grounded into a double play to end the top of the seventh, then Christian Arroyo replaced him at second base to start the bottom half of the inning.
The 29-year-old second baseman went 0-for-3 with two strikeouts.
He spent from July 16-Aug. 27 on the 10-day IL because of a small hairline fracture near his right wrist.
He had been red hot. He entered Sunday 17-for-47 (.362 batting average) with a .412 on-base percentage, .532 slugging percentage, five doubles and one homer in 12 games since returning from the IL.

The Red Sox recorded season-highs in runs (17) and hits (21) on Saturday. They followed that with a four-hit game Sunday. They had just two hits through the first eight innings.
But it was enough.
The Red Sox won 1-0 over the Orioles at Camden Yards to win the three-game series, 2-1.
Rich Hill pitched 5 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits and three walks while striking out seven.
The Red Sox took a 1-0 lead in the first inning. Tommy Pham singled to lead off the game, then stole second base. He reached third on Alex Verdugo’s groundout and scored on Xander Bogaerts’ sac fly.
The bullpen locked it down. John Schreiber pitched a scoreless sixth, allowing one hit and striking out one.
Matt Strahm pitched around a leadoff hit by pitch in the seventh. He struck out two.
Garrett Whitlock handled the eighth, pitching around one walk and striking out two.
Matt Barnes retired the side in order (two strikeouts, lineout to right field) to earn his fifth save.
