The only thing he said that was right IMO
is that the Yankees are to right handed at the plate
but jesus, myself, and a few writers were saying that in the spring....that the Bombers are over rated
the rest of the broadcast....A-rod was his usual asshole self.
A-Rod was clueless and terrible during last night's Red Sox-Yankees game

One of the more infamous moments in out-of-touch presidential campaign history came when George H.W Bush expressed bewilderment at a grocery store checkout scanner. Pool reports said a “look of wonder” swept across the president’s face, even though the device had been around for at least 10 years beforehand.
In other words, Bush probably hadn’t stepped foot into a grocery store for some time. After watching “Sunday Night Baseball,” we can also say the same for Alex Rodriguez. The pariah-turned-celebrity heartthrob doesn’t appear to know what a shopping cart looks like, or anything about the Red Sox’s signature home run celebration, despite working as ESPN’s lead baseball analyst.
It’s hard to figure which offense is worse.
A-Rod was brutal during the Red Sox’s 6-5 victory over the Yankees Sunday, alternating between stating the obvious and outlandish. He said a half-empty Yankee Stadium was “really rocking” and told us New York didn’t want to allow additional runs before the bottom of the ninth. When Yankees hitting coach Marcus Thames was cussing at the Red Sox from the dugout in extras, Rodriguez erroneously explained how difficult it would be for the second-base umpire to parse out his expletives.
Maybe Thames should’ve tried saying “I got it?”
But A-Rod’s most embarrassing mistake came in the top of the seventh, following Marwin Gonzalez’s game-tying home run. Per tradition, the Red Sox got out the laundry cart, and gave Gonzalez a ride.
Except, Rodriguez said Gonzalez was taking a ride in the “shopping cart” — even though the object looks nothing like one. After that, Rodriguez told us Yankees hurler Domingo German, who last pitched in the sixth inning, was now "off the hook."
The problem is, he was never on the hook, considering he wasn't responsible for any of the runners on base.
A-Rod is in his fourth year on “Sunday Night Baseball,” working solo alongside Matt Vasgersian for the last two seasons. Rodriguez landed the job following an excellent stint on Fox’s MLB studio show, where he provided cunning analysis and displayed a sense of humor. The sins from his playing days only added to his aura.
Unfortunately, he lost most of his entertainment value in the transition from Fox Corp. to Disney. On ESPN, Rodriguez lives up to the stereotypes from his playing days: fake, cheesy and clueless.
Red Sox fans experienced the whole trifecta last night.
