Red Sox Nation Stats @rsnstats · 5h #RedSox Bobby Dalbec on playing during the COVID challenge: "We're just trying to take it one day at a time. I think that's the only way you can kind of defend this kind of thing mentally. We never know what's going to happen…It's tough, but it's all part of it right now."
#RedSox Dalbec: "It feel good to feel like I'm contributing on a daily basis." On his AL Rookie of the Month honors that were announced today, Dalbec says, "I'm not really in it for the accolades…but it's awesome to get acknowledged like that. Just got to keep working."

Tony Massarotti @tonymassarotti · 1h Garrett Richards threw 35 of 42 pitches for strikes. Bobby Dalbec went 2-for-4 with a pair of opposite-field, run-scoring hits - and played good defense. Know what that's called? Actual, bona fide, authentic BASEBALL.

Red Sox Nation Stats @rsnstats · 8m 12 strikeouts, no extra-base hits and a win?
Last night’s #RedSox win vs #Rays was just the 6th in #MLB this season under such circumstances. TBR, actually, has 2 such wins in 2021.
Was just 5th such game for BOS in club history, the first since October 3, 1999 vs #Orioles.
Thursday’s was just the 2nd game this season for #RedSox in which a starter recorded 6+ strikeouts, no more than one walk, and no runs over 6+ innings (also Nathan Eovaldi on July 1 vs #Royals).
#Brewers have had an #MLB-best 12 such games in 2021, #Yankees have most in AL (10).
