It might sound counter-intuitive, given how well the Jays are playing, but I think, in general, you have to root for the team in front of you to lose. TO gets one game closer, but so do the NYY. Oh my, I just noticed-Robles in for the save. I can't watch. For me it's more about not wanting the Yankees to win. Ever. I think the Sox will play well enough to hold their WC spot. I would love to see the Yankees knocked out by the Jays.
As for Robles, he did a much better job than some of the others we put out there. With a little help from Renfroe.As always, you are correct. If things blow up, and we lose the next 6, it would a little palatable if the NYY also lost the next 6.

Baseball is an amazingly humbling game. Just 12 games ago, less than 2 full weeks, the NYY were on a 13-game winning streak, and were 9.5 games ahead of the Jays. Now they are 0.5 ahead of the Jays. That's why I try not to sweat the losing streaks, or get hyper when we win.
