According to Kevin Acee of the San Diego Union Tribune, the Mariners' three-game weekend series against the Padres will be moved from Seattle to San Diego.
Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic was first to report word of the likely change, and now Acee has it confirmed. The Mariners already had to shift this week's series against the Giants to San Francisco, and the air quality index around T-Mobile Park remains quite dangerous as of Thursday afternoon. Just another 2020 thing.

Mike Clevinger was scratched from his scheduled start against the Mariners on Saturday due to biceps tightness.
The Padres don't believe the issue to be serious and expect him to be able to make his start in a couple of days. Luis Patino will start what's expected to be a bullpen day for the Padres on Saturday against the Mariners. Source: Annie Heilbrunn on Twitter

Sonny Gray (back) is expected to rejoin the Reds' rotation for the series against the Brewers after throwing a bullpen session Saturday.
They'll wait to see how he recovers, but as long as he doesn't have a setback Gray will return soon, likely on Tuesday. The right-hander landed on the injured list with a mid-back strain following a couple disappointing starts. Returning Tuesday could allow him to get two more starts in before the end of the regular season.

Mike Clevinger Exits Start With Apparent Injury
By Connor Byrne | September 23, 2020 at 4:18pm CDT
Padres right-hander Mike Clevinger threw a 1-2-3 first inning with two strikeouts against the Angels on Wednesday, but he departed after that for an undisclosed reason. The Padres were not planning on pulling Clevinger that soon in the game, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com tweets.
It’s worth noting that Clevinger had his previous start last Saturday pushed back because of bicep tightness, so this situation could be especially alarming news for the playoff-bound Padres. San Diego sent a haul to Cleveland for Clevinger at the Aug. 31 trade deadline, and the 29-year-old has since been highly effective over three starts. As a member of the Padres, Clevinger owns a 3.00 ERA with 17 strikeouts and three walks across 18 innings.
Based on what he has done as a Padre (not to mention his performance with the Indians over the past couple seasons), Clevinger could be a major difference maker in the playoffs for San Diego. The Padres do boast two other front-end starters in Dinelson Lamet and Zach Davies, while Chris Paddack and Garrett Richards offer another pair of proven options, but they won’t be at their best if they have to enter the postseason without Clevinger.

It was a wonderfully orchestrated beating. I had a few breakout days, but Jim just didn't have any bad days. It was like Liza from a few years back. Nicely done, Jim, nicely done.

Thanks Joe ,Jon and Kimmi.
It would feel much better if it was a complete season. I am thinking it was probably a lot more difficult to to manage in many ways this season because of all the weird COVID happenings and rules. It counts just like any other season.
The only way this season doesn't count is if the Yankees win the World Series.

First off Jim darn well deserves the Championship heck the best team the last 2 years
few things.
- we need more players actually playing. Because Yahoo, at the start of me re doing the league, it sends the auto e-mail to folks that may or may not be playing. Kimmi was straight up off the bat and up front, and said she was out. But there was at least 4 spots that were just names and only 3 or 4 folks wanting to deal, making the waiver wire the only help.
- Scoring- it came up once during the season. And this was after I asked in advance and made all the changes people wanted. So, again. I will ask starting now, what changes do u want cuz I want the league to be fun.
- Happy to keep the the Commish role if you folks want. Been big shoes to fill from our friend Zac, but it is fun to run.
Thanks for another fun year.

I will see how things are going Jon. I do miss playing with you guys, but I don't miss the stress of trying to be good at it when I can't. LOL
