Steve Perrault In a 162-game season, the Red Sox have only had one worse start than this 2022 team. That was 56 years ago. This is the worst start for the Red Sox in a full season since 1966.

Red Sox Stats @redsoxstats · 37m Devers bottomed out on April 25th at .264/.284/.458, since then he's hit .375/.412/.500 with his chase rate getting back to acceptable levels. The next step is for his launch angle to trend back up and the extra base hits to come in bunches.

We've had some tough luck, but scoring 3.28 runs/game isn't going to cut it no matter how you slice it up.
At least when we don't play we can't lose.

At least when we don't play we can't lose.We're 14th in walks in the AL. The last time we were this low was 2012. We won 69 that year.
