Tom Caron @tomcaron 10m Godley has thrown 6 fastballs today (10%.). He had only thrown 22 all season (5.3%) in 21 innings prior to today. Adding it (slightly) back into his mix.

I like it. If there was one thing I'd be critical of in the past, is that we didn't go all-in tanking at the trade deadline. Not that we had that many opportunities, but if you have a bad team, make that your strength. If Bloom keeps going, by this time next week, half our top-20 prospects might be new. A few more trades, and we could have a top-15 system. He is getting flak on twitter by a few saying it should be pitching coming back but jesus, he got a pitching chip for Workman deal and GMs hold onto pitching prospects like their own children
Like I said in the Boston Red Sox news thread, Bloom said they need a wave of prospects they get some IF/ OF kids now, means they can focus on pitching when it comes to draft and international draftI agree with that perspective 100%. I almost always think in terms of best prospect available. But with the RS, they need prospects everywhere. If we were LAD or SD, I might be 2% more picky, but outside of 1B, we need prospects at every position. Even during the Theo years, my philosophy was that, if you can develop a ton of hitting, you can buy or trade for pitching. The issue the past few years is not that we didn't develop pitching; it was that we did not develop anything.

Bill Koch @billkoch25 · 2m Bobby Dalbec appears to have changed gloves mid-game. He started with a light brown model and is now wearing all black in the 7th.
Players who follow -- ever do that without some kind of equipment failure? (Broken string, ripped leather, etc.) #RedSox

Another nice outing by Taylor. He's not on my list of guys to move, but an outing like this might get slightly more attention. He was great last year, but opposing GMs might want to see a little more evidence that last year was not a fluke.
